ABSENTEE VOTING SCHEDULE AND PROCEDURES
1. Absentee voting for the general election will start Monday, Oct. 4, and run through
noon Monday, Nov. 1, at the county clerks office in the Dubois County Courthouse.
2. Voting hours will be from 8 to 11 a.m. and noon to 4 p.m. weekdays. On Oct. 20
and 27 (Wednesdays), the hours will be extended to 6 p.m. Voters also may submit
an absentee ballot between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on two Saturdays, Oct. 23 and 30.
3. Voters who want to vote absentee by mail must submit an application for the ballot
to the clerks office by Monday, Oct. 25.
4. The deadline for requesting to vote before the travel board is Monday, Nov. 1 at
noon.
5. Applications for both can be obtained from the clerks office or at the states voter
registration site, www.indianavoters.com.
Remember, the deadline to register to vote is October 4, 2010. Voters may register in the Clerks Office, at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, or on-line at www.indianavoters.com.
